X ACADEMY INFORMATION
X Academy Soccer Complex and cancelation information:
CLOSED - If it has been raining or looks like it is going to storm, please check this website before you leave for a game or PLUS+ Training.
Spring 2012 X Academy
(1-5-12 -- Xenia) On-line registration for Spring 2012 is now open. The registration deadline is Monday, March 12th. We are expecting a record number of participants this spring. The X Academy could possibly cap the number of registrations accepted due to Staff availability. Please get your registrations and payments in early. You will be notified via email within 48 hours of receiving your registration.

The X Academy dates for Spring 2012 are scheduled for:
Every Sunday starting April 1st through May 20th. No X Academy on Sunday, May 6th due to the Club X Tornado Memorial Tournament.
U4/U5 - 2:00-3:00 PM
U6/7 - 3:15-4:15 PM
U8/U9 - 3:15-4:15 PM
Spring 2012 X Academy player fee: $40
Late fee: $10
Fees include: New X Academy t-shirt design and participation award (Trophy for Spring 2012).
Fees also help cover associated costs for running the X Academy:
Insurance, equipment up keep/replacement, office supplies and field maintenance. The entire Club helps bare the cost of maintaining our beautiful facility.
Optional: X Academy PLUS+ Training will be offered on Wednesday nights from 6-7 PM for an additional $10. Training will be *every Wednesday night starting April 4th and ending on May 16th. *A total of 7 training sessions based on the minimum of 18 players participating. There will be 6 training sessions for less than 18 players participating.
All X Academy games will be played at the Eakle Soccer Complex located at 1260 Old Springfield Pike, Xenia, Ohio 45385.

Candice Shelton joins Trainer's Pool and is named the X Academy Assistant Director!
(8-21-11 -- Xenia) Club X Soccer adds another highly qualified Trainer and Director to it's Staff. Just one look at Candice's soccer bio and you know she trains hard and is passionate about the game! We were privileged to watch Candice in action today in her debut with the X Academy. She is great with kids and loves giving back to the game. Candice is a Club X Soccer alumni player. We all want to give Candice a warm welcome back from college.

Kevin Brown named Fall 2011/Spring 2012 X Academy Director!
(7-27-11 -- Xenia) When you mention the name Kevin Brown in Xenia, one word comes to mind...SOCCER! Kevin is excited to be named the X Academy Director and appointed to the Club X Soccer Trainer's Pool. Kevin's soccer bio says it all.
Kevin has been playing soccer the past 17 years of his life and has also been coaching alongside Patrick Higgins for the Club X Arsenal the past 2 years. He has played for many club teams including the Fircrest Invaders (97-98 in WA), Warner Robin Wizards (99-00 in GA), Celtic (02-03), Dayton United (04-05) and is currently playing for Arsenal (OH) in an adult men's league in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Kevin also played for four years at Xenia High School (Div. 1) and was second team all conference his senior season. Kevin then went on to play four years (07-10) at Wilmington College (NCAA Div. 3) where he faced competition from other college and professional teams in multiple states and countries including Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Maryland, Holland, Belgium, Italy, and others. While at Wilmington College he earned 4 varsity letters for soccer, was a part of the team that won the Bob Allen Nissan Classic (2007) in Danville , Kentucky and had an assist in the tournament clinching win, and also was awarded the 2010 Wilmington College Sean Arnold Coaches Award. Along with coaching under Coach Higgins for two years, Kevin has also helped train with Wilmington College Women's soccer coach Steve Spirk at his Spirk Soccer School soccer camps. Usually one can find Kevin playing soccer, coaching soccer, watching soccer, or talking about soccer, most importantly Kevin loves soccer more than anybody else does in the entire world.
Even though Kevin has been working with the Club X Arsenal for several years, we want to officially welcome him to the Club X Soccer Family as a Director and a Trainer!
